Use the navigation buttons just below the title to display (in the left-hand frame) a list of names that begin with a particular letter. For example, click the “Q” button to see the names that begin with that letter.
Scroll down the left-hand frame until you find the name that you want, and then click it to display its data sheet in the main frame.
Spaces, hyphens and other punctuation marks are ignored when determining the order in which names should be sorted. Names that include prefixes are included twice, once under the first character, and once under the first character of the significant part of the name. For example, “p-dichlorobenzene” can be found under P and under D, and “2,4-D” can be found under D and with the numerical entries at the bottom of the list.
This index includes:
all of the common names that have been approved by ISO, including those that have only been provisionally approved;
alternative common names that have been approved by various other authorities for pesticides that have an ISO common name;
common names that have been approved by various authorities for pesticides that do not have an ISO common name;
names of substances that are considered by ISO or BSI not to require common names.
This index does not include:
names of esters and salts of pesticides when the biological activity derives from the parent. For these substances, see the data sheet for the active parent compound and click the name of the ester or salt in the Notes field.
